Roll Over Beethoven!
Music Director Cathyann Roding will lead the Branford High School Chorus in another exciting performance at Woolsey Hall this Sunday for the benefit of the Branford Counseling Center.
The project called "Roll Over Beethoven” will be a two part concert, with the 150-strong chorus and a full orchestra performing Beethoven’s Mass in C, followed by a number of Rock and Roll favorites from the past including Hotel California, Dream On, Heart Breaker, and of course Chuck Berry’s Roll Over Beethoven.
Net proceeds from the concert will be donated to the Branford Counseling Center Basic Needs Program, to provide assistance with food, rent, utilities, heat and prescriptions to needy town residents.
In addition to ticket sales, the concert will be recorded and CDs will be available for sale. Tickets cost $15 each and CDs are $20. Checks for both can be made payable to Roll Over Beethoven and sent to Cathyann Roding, 185 East Main St. Branford, Ct. 06405. A select number of free tickets, courtesy of the United Way, are available for current NMS students / alumni and their families!
