Suzuki Piano Teacher Training

NMS offers adult pianists or piano teachers Piano Teacher Training in the Suzuki method of instruction through an individual Apprenticeship Program with Leena Kareoja-Crothers, Suzuki Association of America (SAA) registered teacher trainer in collaboration with Westport Suzuki School.
Prerequisite: SAA’s “Every Child Can!” Workshop. Learn more.

Piano Pedagogy

This course examines the teaching-learning process and current piano methodology. Filled with insights from Frances Clark, America's first-lady of piano pedagogy, it is great for those interested in learning how to teach beginning piano, or for those who want to rekindle their excitement for teaching young students. 60 minutes. 8 sessions, meets bi-weekly.
